All the glitz and glam of the Oscars is back! It's the 94th Academy Awards, and that means all our favorite celebrities will be gracing the red carpet once again to celebrate the biggest night in Hollywood. From the red carpet to the Oscars afterparties, it's an occasion of endless magic and excitement - and we're here to keep you updated on all of it. Here's what to know.

Perhaps more important than the awards themselves is the moment the celebrities step out of the limo onto the red carpet and show off their glammed-up looks. In a pre-show titled The Oscars Red Carpet Show on ABC at 6:30 p.m. Eastern, Vanessa Hudgens, Terrance J, and Brandon Max will take us up close and personal with the celebrities and their outfits. With Kristen Stewart up for an award for Spencer, Jessica Chastain for The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Nicole Kidman for Being the Ricardos, and Ariana DeBose for West Side Story, the 2022 red carpet is sure to be on fire!

Netflix's The Power of the Dog is currently ahead of the race with 12 nominations; however, we will see if these will translate into wins. CODA is also a strong competitor with nominations in the best supporting actor and best picture categories. There will also be some fan-voted categories that will likely see mainstream movies such as Spider-Man: No Way Home take home some trophies. Apart from the three main hosts, Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes, guest presenters will include Lady Gaga, Tiffany Haddish, Lily James, Shawn Mendes, Rami Malek, and Chris Rock. More excitingly, most nominees in the best original song category will be performing. This includes incredible icons like Beyoncé and Billie Eilish!

Lastly, the basics: the ceremony will take place, as usual, at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. For those of us watching from our sofas, the festivities will begin at 8 p.m. Eastern, 5 p.m. Pacific. You can watch it online or on your television on ABC. Additionally, it will be available to stream on Hulu+ Live TV, YouTube TV, and Sling TV. Grab that popcorn and enjoy!
