Back in 2020, Pete Davidson released the movie The King of Staten Island, which was loosely based on the comedian's life. It was an instant success, thousands of fans loved the hilarious film, and they also finally got an inside glimpse at Davidson's childhood. Luckily for them, the movie wasn't the last we would see of the actor on our screens. The 28-year-old is set to be starring in a new series called Bupkis. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming project.

The Saturday Night Live star will be the lead in the half-hour live comedy. According to the streaming service, Peacock, Bupkis "is a heightened, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson's real life." Similar to his previous movie, "The series will combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements from the unfiltered and completely original worldview for which Pete is well known."

But the multi-talented celeb won't just be the star - he will also get to be a part of the writing process while also being an executive producer. We're not sure how he does it all! Although the comedian will, of course, be joined by other writers, including Dave Sirius and Judah Miller, as well as more EPs like Andrew Singer, Erin David, and Lorne Michaels. "We can't wait to dive in with Lorne Michaels, Broadway Video, and our partners at Universal Television," gushed Susan Rovner, the streaming chairman of entertainment content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. "Bupkis will showcase Pete's funny, surprising and unfiltered brand of comedy audiences have come to love as we continue to bolster our Peacock comedy slate."

While fans are ecstatic for the series to finally drop, they are even more excited to see if Davidson's official girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, may make an appearance in the comedy. After all, she herself has been on her very own show for nearly 20 years so we have no doubt she knows how to be in front of a camera. But luckily as we wait for Bupkis to come out to find out, we do know that the two's relationship will finally be unfolded on her reality TV show, The Kardashians. So obviously we'll be binge-watching both their shows. Stay tuned for updates.
