There's no denying that the new Netflix hit show, Bridgerton, includes some steamy scenes between Phoebe Dynevor and Rege-Jean Page. Daphne Bridgerton, played by Dynevor, and the Duke of Hastings, played by Page, cozy up throughout the series. But, when their very own families started to binge the series, things got a bit awkward.

For those who have yet to watch the 8-episode Shonda Rhimes creation, Bridgerton is set in 19th century London. It's the social season when families host and attend galas to find their younger members a future partner. Daphne (Phoebe) meets the handsome Duke (Rege-Jean), and the rest is full of binge-worthy spicy scenes!

So, what was it like for Dynevor to watch the series alongside her family? "I'm happy for Mum and Dad to see it, because they know the industry, and they know how hard I worked, and how much it meant to me getting that role," Phoebe told The Guardian. "But not my grandparents. And with my younger brother…Well, it's awkward."

We can think of a few scenes between Phoebe and her handsome co-star that might have been a bit uncomfortable to watch alongside sweet old Grandma. But Dynevor explained, "We'd have props, like mats, that went in between us...I never really felt exposed at all." This insight was hopefully able to help ease Grandma's mind.

While 63 million households have already viewed the series, Phoebe reminisced on her and Page's experiences behind the camera. "We were both quite nervous about it. We spent so much time rehearsing together that we've become good mates," she said. "Unfortunately, now he's off in Los Angeles, but we check in with each other a lot."

We hope Dynevor and Page do, in fact, check in with each other often because after seeing their feature in British Vogue, we simply cannot get enough. For anyone who has yet to embark on the tale of Bridgerton, Rege-Jean leaves you with this message, "You think you know what's coming, but I promise you, you really don't."
