Ryan Gosling Turns Heads in First ‘Barbie’ Preview

Come on Barbie, let's go party! Hollywood's been buzzing since news of the live-action Barbie movie broke earlier this year - and the hype is only building as more details about the anticipated drop are swirling online. And boy, do we have some great updates to share with you. So strap in, because here's all the need-to-know info.

For starters, we're not even remotely close to being over the promo picture that dropped of Ryan Gosling in his Ken-doll get-up. The 41-year-old actor has been cast as Barbie's bae, and let's just say that this one picture alone already told us everything we need to know: Ryan was absolutely born to play this role. Warner Brothers Pictures and the official Barbie account teamed up on Instagram to drop the promotional picture, which quickly spread around the internet like wildfire as fans got a taste of what's to come. Other confirmed cast members included Margot Robbie and Emma Mackey - but even more names have rolled out in recent weeks. And let's just say, we understand why this film has been compared to Knives Out 2 - practically all of Hollywood has been cast!

According to GQ Magazine, other big names slotted to appear in the Barbie film include Will Ferrell, former Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, and Simu Liu. Also joining the gang on-screen is Dua Lipa (below), who is swapping the microphone for a script in one of her first Hollywood gigs! Sex Education's Connor Swindells will also be appearing in the film along with his other Netflix co-star, Ncuti Gatwa. And let's not forget our girl Issa Rae and Kingsley Ben-Adir, too! Talk about mega star power - this film has got some serious heavy-hitters lined up, only adding to the excitement of the release.
