Top Gun: Maverick actor Glen Powell and Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney are starring in a new rom-com called Anyone But You, and Sony Pictures just dropped a trailer to give us a sneak peek. The story revolves around Bea (played by Sweeney) and Ben (played by Powell) at a destination wedding – Bea's sister's to be precise.

The rollercoaster of a story unfolds at a destination wedding, and it's not just any wedding – it's Bea's sister's big day. Rumors begin to swirl that Bea and Ben had a romantic fling during a small break in Bea's last relationship. Adding to the mix of all the drama, Ben's ex, the one who supposedly "crushed his heart," is also on the guest list at the wedding. When both of Bea's parents show up with her ex Jonathan, things get complicated. To avoid her parents pushing her back to her ex and help Ben win back his ex, Bea and Ben decide to pretend that they're dating. Another classic rom-com move, if you ask us.

But the two characters don't just leave things at "pretending to date." They've got to act like they are head over heels for each other and have rekindled the spark they once had. As the wedding weekend unfolds, their fake-relationship activities get crazier and crazier, and that's when the big question arises - could there actually be something real between the two of them? Thankfully, Sony Pictures' trailer of the upcoming film has given us a glimpse at how the events of this love story hilariously spiral out of control. Here's a look:

Anyone But You is directed by the rom-com mastermind, Will Gluck, who also happens to be the mastermind behind Easy A. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Hadley Robinson, Michelle Hurd, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet, and Rachel Griffiths. Anyone But You is set to hit theaters on December 22. Get ready for a mix of laughs, romance, and maybe a few unexpected twists. It's a date you won't want to miss!
