Zendaya Gives Us Behind the Scenes Look at Euphoria Season 2

It's the moment we've all been waiting for: Euphoria season 2 is officially underway. And while we might be waiting a while before Rue actually returns to our screens, we've now got some backstage pictures to tide us over in the meantime...

On Tuesday, May 4, Zendaya took to the 'gram to give us an update on the upcoming season. "Missed this kid," the actress began, alongside a picture of Angus Cloud (a.k.a the East Highland troublemaker with a heart of gold: Fezco).

In case there was any doubt before? The Euphoria actress is officially happier than ever: "Just being back here in general...missed it," Zendaya gushed about finally being back on set. So did we, Z. That being said, when exactly will we be catching Rue and her friends on our screens again?

Unfortunately, your guess is as good as ours. "There is a beautiful second season that has been written, but in order to do it the way we want to do it, we need to wait until it's safer," Zendaya explained about the upcoming season's delay due to the global pandemic.

But from the looks of it? We're finally that much closer to tagging along on Rue's adventures. Though we should warn ya, it's gonna be an even bumpier ride this time around. In fact, as Barbie Ferreira (a.k.a Kat Hernandez) teased: "It's going to be even more rambunctious and in-depth, more fantastical and trippy—all that good stuff."

Consider us intrigued. Though perhaps it's what her co-star, Sydney Sweeney, said that truly left us scratching our heads. "You won't be able to guess what's coming… I couldn't even guess it," the Euphoria actress hinted. "I mean, everything with life as a teenager is shocking, so you never know what to expect." Fair point, Syd.
