The range of looks on the red carpet for the 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards reflected the diversity of the competition's nominees. From The Real Housewives to House of Gucci, the stars represented all forms of entertainment. However, the great equalizer of all is fashion, as all the actors/reality stars' looks are judged against each other, regardless of genre. While, unfortunately, there is currently no award for the best outfit of the night, these were our stand-out looks on the red carpet...
First up is our host, Vanessa Hudgens. Although she changed her outfit multiple times throughout the night, her red-carpet look is what had everyone talking. The cobalt-blue silk chiffon gown from Vera Wang Haute flew in the wind as she posed for the cameras effortlessly. Paris Hilton also kept things blue as she arrived in a Sol Angelann glittering light blue gown with matching heels and earrings.
The Selling Sunset cast was on the money with their looks, showing the world why they are the most fashionable and expensive real-estate brokers in town. Chrishell Stause showed off her toned physique in a Grace Ling black bra and high-waisted pant set, while co-star Vanessa Villela was dressed in a black Alamour the Label low-cut dress. Twin brothers Jason and Brett Oppenheim, the men behind the show and the brokerage, were also in attendance. Following the rest of his co-stars, Brett paired a black shirt with grey and black trousers. Jason apparently did not get the black memo, wearing a dark blue suit with white sneakers.
As we saw on the Grammy's red carpet, pink is this season's color. Teddi Mellencamp graced the red carpet with a shimmery short pink dress paired with matching pink-souled heels. Lana Condor went all out with a hot-pink suit attached to matching heels. Euphoria bombshell Sydney Sweeney went for a lighter approach, rocking a light pink Miu Miu sparkly miniskirt. These are just some of the best looks from the night. For the complete outfit line-up, check out the official MTV Red Carpet replay and decide for yourselves who was the night's real winner!
