If we're being completely honest, our love of award shows has 99 percent to do with the fashion we get to see on display on the red carpet. And the hype surrounding this year's Tony Awards was no exception - so let's dive in and take a look to see who stole the show on the red carpet...
The best part about the Tony Awards red carpet is that it's a celebration of Broadway talent - which means all things glitz and glam. And while other red carpets offer tamer looks, the Tony Awards is the place to put it all on display! And the celebs we saw certainly understood the assignment. For starters, we had the ethereal Cynthia Erivo, who stole the show in her white gown. Complete with a cape and hood, this certified elf-princess look made heads turn and gained major praise for the designer of the look, Giambattista Valli Haute Couture. On the other side of the color spectrum, we had Vanessa Hudgens, who took the LBD to new heights in her Schiaparelli Couture dress. This number was all about the fine details, including the cinching running down the dress's center and the gold jewelry she chose to accessorize with. It was a big 10 out of 10 if you ask us!
And speaking of flawless looks, this wouldn't be a Tony Awards 2022 fashion roundup without throwing some major applause Jessica Chastain's way. The Scenes from a Marriage star shut the carpet down with her baby pink Gucci gown, which was serving some serious Jessica Rabbit vibes. Complete with a red lip and minimal accessories, Jessica really let the dress shine, which featured a satin side train and an off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline. Talk about flawless! It was safe to say that the talented celebs brought their all to the 75th annual Tony Awards - and the fans took notice.
Well, now that the Tonys are over and done with, that leaves us plenty of time to get excited for the next red carpet coming up.
