Landon Barker has teamed up with boohooMAN to produce a stylish and affordable collection, fully "rockstar-inspired," and we are here for it. The 18-year-old influencer turned fashion designer is the son of Blink-182 drummer and Kourtney Kardashians' new hubby, Travis Barker, so style just runnns in the family. Barker Jr., known for his pop-punk energy, just like his dad (and now Kourt), has released a 40-piece collection in conjunction with boohoooMan, and we're here to break it down for ya. Keep scrolling.
The young social-media star has officially added a new skill to his resume: fashion designer. Barker is known for his time on reality TV, his popularity on TikTok and Instagram, and for being a musician! Landon dropped his first single back in 2018, Don't Need Her, and since then has released a few more. The young musician was recently on Machine Gun Kelly's latest album, as he wrote and is featured on the track, Die in California. Sounds like music just runs in their blood!
When co-designing the pieces with boohooMAN, Barker made it clear that he wanted "full creative direction" over the collection. "They're a great brand, but they don't have anything rockstar-ish yet — nothing pop-punk or grungy. I said, 'I'm down to do this, but I want it to resemble me,'" he told Rolling Stone. And that's what they did! According to Barker, he came in with a vision - and the brand executed. "It's definitely for the emo scene, the rock scene, but it will appeal to everybody," he says when describing the vibe of the pieces. Although the brand is meant for men, Barker explained, "The collection is very unisex," and the pieces "would look fly on anyone."
The recently released collection includes special pieces ranging from $19 to $67. Each pair of rock and roll-inspired pants have an attached chain to them, with one pair having a bandana at the waist and one pair having crosses going down the entire leg. A staple piece from the collection is a faux crocodile leather jacket with a label pin inspired by a custom-made skeleton chain that Barker has been known to wear. So make sure to check out the boohooMAN collection and get ready to bring out your inner rock 'n' roll style!
