| LAST UPDATE 05/25/2023
The upcoming Paris Men's Fashion Week is looking bigger and better than ever, with a whopping 42 runway shows scheduled! The week-long celebration of all things style will feature some of the biggest names in the industry, including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Hermès, Givenchy, Loewe, Kenzo, AMI, Marine Serre, and Lemaire, among others.
But the real buzz is around Louis Vuitton's announcement that it will showcase its debut collection by new men's creative director Pharrell Williams two days earlier than usual on June 20th. The anticipation for this show is through the roof, with the brand moving its show to the opening slot of the week. This is a significant move for the luxury brand and is expected to be one of the highlights of the week. In total, 80 labels are set to feature their Spring/Summer 2024 collection, with 38 presentations and 42 runway shows. With such a diverse range of labels, from emerging designers to established names, there's bound to be something for everyone at Paris Men's Fashion Week.
However, it’s not all good news, with eight withdrawals from the calendar, including Saint Laurent, Maison Margiela, and Casablanca. Nevertheless, this hasn't dampened the excitement for what is sure to be an incredible week of fashion. Paris Men's Fashion Week will also feature some amazing emerging talent showcasing their work, including Bed J.W. Ford, a Japanese label by designer Shinpei Yamagishi; Nigerian designer Adeju Thompson of Logos Space Programme, recent winner of the 2023 Woolmark Prize; and French label C.R.E.O.L.E by Vincent Frédéric-Colombo. These rising stars are set to make a big impact and are definitely worth keeping an eye on.
