On November 30, all eyes were on Maritime Marina as Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2022 show played out - less than 48 hours after the news of Abloh's passing. But the touching tribute was actually a long time in the making. "Per his wishes... we at Louis Vuitton will proudly continue to celebrate his legacy with a final show in Miami," Michael Burke, Louis Vuitton's Chairman and CEO, explained.

From the moment spectators - including Kimye, A$AP Rocky, and Rihanna - arrived at the secret venue, Virgil's presence was felt immensely: greeted by a massive statue of the former Louis Vuitton creative director, the event was truly a sight to be seen. Which brings us to his final collection...

From ruffled jackets to mesh jerseys, Abloh's last collection was precisely as intricate as expected. As models walked the dimly lit runway in his colorful pieces, spectators were reminded why the fashion genius was as well-respected and renowned as he once was (and still is).

As the night came to a close, Virgil's former team at Louis Vuitton took to the stage for a heartfelt goodbye. After sharing a few words of their own, a massive screen unveiled aside them to share some more words - this time, from Abloh himself. "Life is so short that you can't even waste a day subscribing to what someone thinks you can do, versus what you can do," the late designer was heard saying, as fireworks began to erupt above.
