Don't Freak Out but Jennifer Aniston Just Spilled All Her Health Secrets
| LAST UPDATE 10/17/2021
Since Jennifer Aniston became the Chief Creative Officer of Vital Proteins, it's been easy to see why people are obsessing over the actress's self-care tips and tricks! Lucky for us, Jen has begun to share her health secrets, too, and we couldn't be more excited.
So, let's hop right into her must's. "Meditation, that's a no-brainer," Aniston said off the bat. This is something Jen does at home as a daily practice. "And then also, my coffee. That's sort of the ritual: Coffee, mediation, meditation, comma coffee, depending on the order," she continued.
Aside from setting time aside to journal, Jen sets up her perfect day by "Walking [her dogs, Clyde, Sophie, and Lord Chesterfield] and feeding them, that's my typical morning," explained the Friends star. And, amidst all of this, Aniston has one cardinal rule that she follows no matter what...
"No phones, no email, no texting, and no social media. No looking at any of that for a good hour, hour and a half. I highly recommend doing a week of it; you won't believe the difference," she shared. While this might seem like a pretty wild idea in the 21st century, if Jen says it works, we're willing to give it a try!
So where exactly did the award-winning actress get all this inspo from? "My mom was a big health junkie," she said. "When I was a kid, I didn't get any of the fun Froot Loops or Captain Crunches or Wonder Breads...My mom was always very health-conscious, and she did yoga, and so I grew up in it."
So, as she entered adulthood, Jen began to take a more holistic approach to her health. "It's not just nutritional; it's emotional, it's spiritual. Be really mindful about what you put into your ears, your eyes, what you intake, the social media that you put in, the news. It's very, very, very, very crucial to our well-being," the Hollywood icon explained. You can consider us inspired! But then again, we'd take note of anything that our beloved Rachel says.
