Step aside, Dua Lipa. Another pop star just joined the Don't Start Now hit-maker in the Billions Club: Olivia Rodrigo is the latest artist to reach over a billion streams around the world. Yes, 1 billion. Here's what we know about the record-breaking milestone...
As Spotify recently announced on Twitter, one of the 18-year-old's hit songs just reached 1 billion streams on Spotify. Any guess which one? Of course, Drivers License, because, well, have we ever not had it blasting on our radios? But clearly, we're not the only ones who can't get enough of the catchy tune.

Sure enough, 7-ish months and 1+ billion streams later, Rodrigo is officially on her way to becoming the next big thing. But in becoming the latest member of the Billions Club, the singer also made history: Drivers License is officially the fastest solo song by a female artist to reach a billion Spotify streams. As if we weren't impressed enough...
Her next drive through the suburbs (red lights and stop signs) is going to hit very differently, isn't it? But we've got a feeling she'll be hanging around the Billions Club for a while now. In case you forgot, this isn't the only track of Miss Rodrigo to find its way to our radios.
From Good 4 U to Sour to Deja Vu, the teen might be new to the scene, but we'd certainly keep an eye out for her. "It's so nice to be welcomed into the music industry and so great to be supportive of other women," the 18-year-old recently gushed to Variety of her overwhelming success. We couldn't agree more.
From Disney to Drivers License, Olivia Rodrigo's road to Hollywood has been one heck of a ride. And we can't wait to see what comes next. Until then, be sure to check out her swanky new spot in Spotify's playlist (among our other favorite tracks).
